Because Tyson’s birthday was on Easter this year we decided to let him open the presents from us and his Grandma and Grandpa Murray on Saturday. Grandma and Grandpa’s present had come a few weeks ago and it was big! He asked all the time when is it time to open the big present. He had to wait until daddy came home from school and mommy had come home from the mall with the boys buying her Easter dress.
So, then Brian told Tyson that he needed some help in the garage.
“What?! A Bike!”
“Hey, it looks just like Wes’s”
He was a little afraid at first. He has been riding his friend’s bike for months and it is a little bit smaller than this one. He was so scared that if he got going too fast on it he’d jump off. Once Brian taught him how to use the breaks he hasn’t looked back. He loves it! I was afraid he might not like it. That morning I asked him what he wanted for his birthday and he said a Cars bike. Well, that is obviously not what we got him. Doesn’t matter now though because he loves this one.
Out to dinner on his birthday at his very favorite place. Carl’s Jr! He calls it Carlos Jr. though :) And we stopped trying to correct him because he thinks he is saying it right.
This cute picture is from school on the 5th. On their birthday they have a little party, are given a crown and a poster to color and bring back. Apparently all the other parents colored their kids posters. Haha!
