Video from the ZOO

Make sure you check out the novel below but I just have to post this video from the zoo. Tyson LOVED these monkeys. You are about to see how much...

We are alive, I promise

Pizza at Gino's in Chicago!

I know, I know...I am suppose to blog once a week. It is a little hard to do that with no computer but thanks to my friend, Melanie, I get to sit down and write how our lives have been the last few weeks. We are living in a small town in Indiana (I'd rather not share where that exactly is since this blog is not private) and let me tell you it is small. I have to drive at least 15 minutes to get to Wal-Mart, Target, Costco, and Wells fargo. However, none of these places are in the same city and they are all in opposite directions. I'm just grateful these stores are around here. The apartments are really nice that we are living in. So nice that I am scared to death of a scratch showing up on the wall. These are brand spankin' new so it would be easy for them to tell that WE did the scratch. As some of you read before I was learning how to do grocery shopping with out Brian. I am getting better at it and I am starting to learn what a good deal is (Brian always paid attention to that stuff for me : ) I would never make it through a trip though if it weren't for raisins and animal crackers. I am enjoying looking for new recipes. My friends out here have got me all excited to try something new every week for dinner. That has been fun since I was stuck in a big rut of making the same things over and over. I still miss dance and teaching. Brian is so tired every night when he comes home. Since they are working about 2 hours away right now he gets home at 11 at night. He eats dinner and within 5 minutes he falls asleep. I have some funny pictures of how and where he falls alseep. Just really proves how tired he is. Sometimes I try to get him to move and come to bed and sometimes I just give up. He is doing well out here. Not as well as he would like but he is such a trooper. I know he can reach his goal. He works so hard and never gives up! Tyson and I are very proud of him. We have enjoyed a few shopping trips as well as going to the park and Zoo! Tyson is getting really good at waving now. He says "Nummies" when he wants food and cries when Brian leaves in the morning. I just know that poor kid is so tired of me! We cut Tyson's hair a few weeks ago and it is short. At first I didn't like it but I really like it now. Tyson plays well with the older kids but seems to be a bit of a bully to the younger kids. I am not quite sure what to do about that. He has some girlfriends out here. He loves playing with the other kids though. I think it must be the highlight of his day besides watching Elmo and eating lunch. Tyson does really well eating lunch and breakfast but he hardly eats anything for dinner. He is getting better at drinking milk but for awhile there I was a little scared about him. Wow this is the longest post in this century. I will just end there. We are happy and healthy out here. Keep us in your prayers. We thank you for always doing that anyways. We have faith that we are in the right place. Enjoy the pictures! They will probably be a bit out of order but I can't help it.

yeah, the couch is right there!!

Another tiring day...
