Nov 10-19

November 14th. Hannah's first Sunday at church and in a dress. Can you tell this is my only girl and my last baby?  I took like 20 pictures of her in this dress.

On Sunday evening Brian took out the nerf guns and shot the army guys with the boys.  They loved it and they have since asked many, many times to play it again.

Andrew brought home 'Little Critter' over the weekend and needed to read the book and then show what Little Critter did with Andrew.  This is what we came up with.  I was so proud of having this project done for him at 9am on Monday morning!  But then I came down stairs and saw the boys eating candy for breakfast.  Oh well, I can't win them all and Jeffrey is eating an apple too so that is good at least.

A few other notes about Andrew...

Brian and I were laying in bed on morning and Andrew walked in with a box of candy dots in his hand.
"Can I have a piece of candy?"
(Said exactly at the same time)
Me: "No"
Brian: "Yes"

Andrew looked a bit confused by our conflicting responses. We laughed about it for 5 minutes afterward.  We need to get on the same page apparently.

Andrew is our prayer.  He always wants to say it and the food prayer and nighttime prayer said almost identical despite our efforts to teach him otherwise.

I wan't going to include all of these pictures because I have been worried that it would be too much, but I decided that these pictures are everyday life around here, especially after a new baby.  The great thing about these phone cameras are that I get to capture the mundane daily things with young kids.

You can probably figure out which child wanted Hannah to play with his skeleton stuff...

So, so cute and cuddly!

This is my effort to spend more time with the boys.  We read and laid in bed.

Surviving the days with some messy playdough!

And pushing each other in a dump truck.

Crazy hat day at school for Andrew so Grandma came and helped his army hat turn crazy.  Then of course Jeffrey wanted in on the crazy hat fun.

Hannah was so tiny!!!

Hannah is outgrowing her newborn clothes fast!  She made it too about 6 weeks and then I had to move her up in size, at least in her pajamas.  She also started sleeping 5-6 hour stretches at night!

TOFW, First Bottle and Our Thankful Turkey (Nov 20-25)

I went to Time Out for Women with my mom, Emily and her mom, Suzan.  It was nice to be spiritually fed and uplifted.  I brought Hannah since she hadn't taken a bottle yet and I was going to be gone Friday early evening until late and all day Saturday.  I brought my wrap carrier and Hannah did great!

My mom won one of the raffles for a $50 Desert Book gift card.  Of course she did.  My mom wins everything!

Hannah's first bottle on November 22nd

Tyson as a baby on the right and Hannah on the left.  Compete twins at this point!

One of my favorite outfits on my girl!

For FHE we made our Thankful Turkey!  There was quite a bit of crying, arguing, yelling and tears over colors, crayons, and hanging up the feathers but I am grateful for these crazy kids.  The picture of them looking at the turkey and Tyson reading everything to his brothers melts my heart.

1 month old

This angel of ours is officially 1 month old.  She's so tiny and just a sweetheart.  She is starting to not like the binky but loves to be swaddled and rocked to sleep.  She's an awesome eater but spits up a ton.  I always have to have a burp cloth ready or it goes everywhere.  When I rock her to sleep I have to tuck a burp cloth between her face and my arm to catch the spit up while she falls asleep.  She sleeps in our room on the rock-n-play.  She gives me a good stretch at night (I can't exactly remember but at this point I think it was about 4-5 hours between feedings at night.  I wish I could remember more of what she did at this stage but when you are sleep deprived and taking medication, it all kind of blurs together.  I'm sure she mainly just slept most of the day in the swing while I tried to squeeze in naps myself and take care of her brothers' immediate needs.

I did a little photo session for at 1 month old and used my nice camera.  I used my phone afterward to take one and post it on Facebook/Instagram.  She gave me a smile right as her arm covered her mouth. I know she didn't mean to smile but it still was super adorable and melted my heart.
