The very anticipated day for my 3 year old finally came yesterday. He loved it. He is still telling us how much fun he had with Thomas a day later. He was so excited to see Thomas the train. He fell asleep on the ride to Heber but as soon as we parked the car and turned it off he sat straight up and said, “A train! Sometimes there are trains and sometimes they are Thomas!”
We did not feel like standing in a 20 minute line to get super close to Thomas or have them take some professional photo that we’re suppose to buy. We improvised and I think it worked.
Off he goes blowing some steam!
While waiting for our turn to ride the train Tyson enjoyed playing on some “broken” train tracks. (Broken because they ended he said).
Saw this neat old train that Tyson really liked.
Thomas came back just for us to ride!!!
Mom and Tyson boarded the train and are ready to go!
Family picture in the freight car!
As you can see, really excited to be on Thomas’s freight car and go for a ride!
**Have you noticed how this picture above is the 3rd one with his mouth wide open? Yeah, I guess that is his excited face?!**
He did this most of the ride. There was one time he was about chest deep sticking out. Yeah, we let him know that was not okay and dangerous and he could fall out. He replied, “Oh, then Thomas would leave me!” He’s so smart.

Sad to leave Thomas…and showing off his Henry tattoo.
After spending the day with Thomas we went and got ice cream at Granny’s in Heber. That was fun too and delicious. I haven’t had ice cream in over a month. If you know, that’s a HUGE accomplishment :) Once we got home and rested up we went to dinner. It is a small restaurant called the The Smoking Apple in Lindon. If you’ve never been, you gotta go. Trust me!
About a week ago I took this video of Andrew. You just can’t help but smile when you watch this.
