Sunday in early November

Every Sunday we drive out to our house.  This Sunday we had Brian’s parents and Grandmother over for dinner and then we drove out to see the lot.  They had added window wells and filled in around the foundation.  They also filled in the bottom of the basement and the garage.  If they did anything else I didn’t notice.

And Andrew and I made cookies that night.

Foundation

We visited our lot on 10-17-13 and the foundation was in!

October 31st

I’ve been wanting to take the kids to the Trick or Treating down Main Street previous years and I finally did it this year.  The kids had lots of fun.  It got a little crazy at times with Andrew not listening and there were a lot of people.  I couldn’t really chase after him with a stroller or leave it behind.

Everyone survived and the kids got lots of candy.  It was a success.

Then a friend called me to tell me to go to the other city’s event and the kids got to take a fun photo-op in front of a haunted pirate ship.

That night we carved our pumpkins!

I did end up taking Tyson out Trick or Treating for 15 minutes.  We hit up all the elderly people here since I knew they’d have candy waiting and no kids to come say hello.

{Our Halloween Celebration}

There is not really any Trick or Treating in our area on Halloween so we use the ward’s Trunk or Treat as our way of doing it.  I took some pictures of the kids before we headed over to the church.

Wow, I have some cute kids.  There was a dinner and then the kids when Trunk or Treating twice.  Here are the kids checking out their candy loot from the party.

Pumpkin Patch

Since we weren’t going to do Cornbellys this year we knew we needed to go to the pumpkin patch.  They added so many fun things this year and it was all free!  The kids had a blast and we invited our friends, the McCages, to come along.

The small petting zoo area

The corn maze where we lost Andrew for about a minute.  He’s too fast and fearless.

Andrew teaching Brylie to throw corn onto the slide.  He’s such a great example Smile

The giant corn pit.  I’m pretty sure the kids could have stayed playing there the rest of the day.

Tyson was brave and jumped off the high haystacks into the pit many times.
