Recital time!

Just like Timp’s show in January, they had a show of Snow White in June.  He did a wonderful job and his cartwheels really improved from the last show!

I danced in the show this time and loved it.  It is always fun to get dancing again.  I love teaching but there is something really amazing about doing it myself.  And don’t even get me started on how much I love to perform.  It was fun to feel the nerves of excitement again before each show!

Family Pictures 2014

When I found out that a friend in our new ward did photography I knew I wanted her to take them.  I’d seen her work and was so impressed.  It had been since October 2012 when we last had photos done.  And with Jeffrey just turning one I knew it was great timing as well.  I had all the outfits planned out and then the day before and day off I looked at the weather.  It looked cold and I knew I couldn’t put my children in shorts and short sleeves.  I had to redo it all.  It was a headache and I was very stressed out but it all worked out because…

I have loved every single picture she has given us. 

I love that these showcase my sweet family and everyone’s personality.  I loved the location too, because it looks like where we now live. 

Jeffrey’s 1 year check up

Jeffrey had his 1 year well visit.  He looked great the Dr. said.  We just need to have him switched over to whole milk and get him eating real food now.  What a sweet baby he is.

Of course, in Dr. fashion we had to wait in the tiny waiting room and Andrew was throwing a fit.  So I thought I’d just take some pictures while we waited.

What a small little cutie pie!  At one years old he is pulling himself up on to stuff.  He has 2 teeth which results in the cutest little smile.  He takes two naps a day and sleeps great at night as long as he has his binky and his blankets.  He also hates the carseat and screams and throws his binky to show is dismay.  He doesn’t care for the grass and tries to crawl off of it quickly.  He does not like to be alone and because of that he tries to play around on the stairs, which has resulted in a few sad spills on the stairs.  He still dranks water and milk from a bottle.  Hopefully we can get him transitioned over to a sippy cup really soon.

Tyson did a handprint with a poem in Kindergarten.  I was cleaning out a bin and found Brian had one almost identical from when he was in Kindergarten.  I’m so glad Brian’s mother kept this.  What a special keepsake we now have.
