Easter Morning

The kids loved Easter morning and seeing what the Easter bunny had brought them.  Lucky, lucky kids!

Easter Egg hunt and Madi’s Baptism

We had only moved out of the condo 2 months prior so when my mom invited us to the Easter egg hunt there we went.  I felt a little weird like everyone was looking at us wondering why we were there but I didn’t feel too bad because my mom lives there now.

Once Andrew picked up an egg he had to open it and then put it in the basket.  I remember there were ants in the eggs with the candy.  Yuck!

After I took a picture or two of Andrew I looked over and Tyson was already done with the big kid egg hunt.  So here he is with one of his finds.

I’ve missed this purple park so it was fun to get to see people again and let the kids play on the playground. 

Right after the egg hunt we all changed and headed up to Farmington for Madi’s baptism.  Brian got to be a witness while she was baptized and I said the closing prayer.  It was fun to be with family and witness Madi becoming a member of the church.  She is a very special niece to me and I’m so glad we got to feel the spirit on her day.  We went to her house after for some ice cream and to let the kids change and play.  Then we went out to dinner at our favorite Mexican place near their house.

Tyson’s 6th Birthday party

We had a fun party at our house (THAT will never get old to say) on Sunday, April 13th.  Tyson loved his cake and all the friends and family that were able to make it to the party.  Of course he got Legos from Brian and I.  That’s all he ever wants.  I’m so glad he has something he is passionate about and does really well.  (I love the look on Andrew’s face because he wanted the Legos too.

I’m usually the one taking all the pictures so I wanted a picture with Tyson and his present.

I can’t believe my little baby, Ty baby, is 6 years old.  He love his family and tells me all the time how much he loves me.  He is sensitive to his friend’s feelings.  He is a great little reader and works hard to earn money for Legos.  He teases Andrew a lot but can also play really well with him.  He is super sweet to Jeffrey and helps a lot by bringing my binkies, bottles, diapers or even Jeffrey himself to me.  He loves to socialize and makes friends really easily.  He is very smart and sometimes doesn’t want to do his homework or reading because according to him, ‘This is too easy.”  haha!

April 7-12

We did a little celebration with Tyson on his actual birthday.  Just a donut run at Ridley’s for breakfast.  He had celebrated his birthday at school the Friday before because of Spring Break. 

Later in the week we went to an Easter party at Erin Brown’s house.  There were treats, candy, a hunt and games.  The kids had a blast and I loved chatting with my friends. Tyson loved seeing all the kids from Belle Monet again.  I know he has really missed those friends since moving here.  We’re still trying to get to know neighbors and do play dates.
