4 years ago I married my dream guy and best friend! Happy Anniversary sweetheart! I love you!
Santa made an appearance at the ward Christmas party! I expected Tyson to be fine with Santa because he does so well about going to whomever, whenever. He fussed for a second and had this really confused look on his face. I bet he was wondering why this guy in red with a big white beard called Santa was holding him. He put on a happy face right after Santa handed him a treat. He ran up to Brian afterwards to show him his treat. Christmas will be fun this year. We’re excited for Tyson to understand Christmas a little better. I am sure he’ll be throwing fits right and left when we take a toy away for him to open the next : )

On Sunday night we decided to decorate a Gingerbread House! I thought that Tyson would try to destroy the entire thing within seconds, but he did a great job. He sat and watched Brian and I. Brian decorated one side and I the other. I got off my chair to get some extra candy and I turn around to this adorable sight…
He grabbed some candy and started placing the candies kind of how I was doing it. I was really proud of him.
Then he started eating some of the candy…
Daddy helped some…
Very proud of himself!
Love that chubby little hand! You can tell his pieces are the non-traditional Christmas colors : )
And of course throwing a huge tantrum when we were finished. He does this anytime he doesn’t get what he wants. Just a hard life ya know?!
By the way, Tyson is picking off the gum drop pieces off the very top of the roof as I am typing this. I don’t think the candy on that house is going to last much longer : )

Here are some pictures from this past week. He is showing off his personality.
The Box: (I will narrate what I think Tyson is thinking)
“Look mom, I found a box!”
“Boy oh boy, these white thingies are fun!”
“Am I suppose to be playing in here…am I in trouble?”
“Guess not, YAY!”
After about 10 minutes he did get in trouble. We told him it was time to clean up and he dumped the box out of the ones we had cleaned up. He got a time out for that one. Man those little popcorn pieces were everywhere.
The Bag:
“This is so fun! I’m in a bag! Dada is so funny!”
“What? Why am I on the couch?! I want to do it AGAIN!”
“I guess I’m in a bag…but why am I in a pink one?”
The Apron:
“I am wearing an apron just like Momma!”
“I dug through a drawer and found this HUGE phone”
(He found my old calculator. He thinks it’s a phone)
Hope you can see some of his personality in these pictures. I should have captured more photos of him throwing his tantrums. I will get pictures of those next time : )

Hello all! Sorry about not posting in awhile. Let’s just say I haven’t been in the mood. You know how it goes. Every now and then we all get doing other things.
So Thanksgiving was fun! It’s always great to be around family. The Holidays are a little bitter sweet for me. Thanksgiving and Christmas especially make me really miss my parents. I was telling a friend tonight that I haven’t spent a Christmas with my parents since 2006. Isn’t that sad? Anyway, back to Thanksgiving. Last week we all got sick with some nasty stomach bug. I had it the day before Thanksgiving so I was a little hesitant in eating a lot. Besides having “the sickness” (as my brother calls it) we had a lot of fun! Great fun and always good conversation. Perhaps the favorite in Brian’s family is planning out our Black Friday shopping! We were successful this year. Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving. (Tina, you can copy these pictures I think. If not, tell me and I’ll email them : )
Savanna! Look at those baby blues!!!
Tyson showing off his food I guess! Sorry about posting it but I couldn’t help myself. This picture just screams Tyson ; )
He didn’t eat much food. I think he filled up on juice…
Sean and Kaelin!
The little kids table!
More family. It isn’t the greatest picture but I wanted to hurry and get back to my food! : )
The teenagers table. Love these guys!
Now onto Max. My niece, Madilyn, had a little dance show yesterday and I offered to watch Max so that Emily could get Madi ready for it. Tyson LOVES Max. They love like brothers and even fight like brothers! I had to pull out my camera because their cuteness was just too much! Max is one of the few peoples names that Tyson will say (besides saying Momma and Dada). However, it comes out as “Ma”. Love it!
Smile!
Hugs!
Makes me want our next baby to be a boy so Tyson has a buddy. No, I’m not announcing that I’m pregnant. Just thought I’d make that very clear : )

I spent about 2.5 hours yesterday planning all of this and then I spent 2 hours going to 4 stores. I don’t feel like I wasted gas because three of the store were close to each other and Sundays tend to be boring anyway so what’s 2.5 hours? Anyway, I’m really proud of what I did today and how much money I saved my family. I spent $43.00 for everything on my kitchen table. (Please note I am subtracting rebates to get that total but I’ll take it!) Which to me sounds like a lot of money so let me break everything down…
* 1 Mega pkg. of Luvs diapers
* 2 gallons of milk
* 6 cans of vegetables
* 2 Steam fresh Meals
* 8 boxes of Wheat Thins
* 2 boxes of Ritz crackers
*5 bananas
* 2 5 oz beef steaks
* 5 containers of baby wipes
* 1 box Benevia Health Drinks (I wouldn’t normally get something like this but I needed it to MAKE $1.79 at RiteAid : )
*6 blanket sleeper pajamas for Tyson
The blanket sleepers is what made my total so high. However I got each 2 pkg for $11.18 so it was a great deal on them and he really, really, really needed them. We’ve been talking about getting him new ones for about a month and a half now.
I want to show you how much my total increased because of the PJ’s. My total with out the much needed PJ’s is around $9.50!!! (I don’t now how to subtract tax but that’s a really good guess)
I really can’t believe it. Isn’t a Mega pkg. of Luvs diapers around $15 to $16 dollars at Wal-Mart or something?! Yeah, I’m pretty happy with myself. Pride is not a good thing but I think I’m gonna be prideful about this one for a little while ; )
Tyson saw me taking pictures and wanted to be in some. Please ignore his nasty crusty face. I keep him quiet at the store with snacks…

I love my son. I do not love it when he does this…
I turn my back for 10 minutes and he destroys the house! I clean this type of mess up twice a day! Enough is enough. I know he knows how to “clean up” (he has learned from nursery) so from here on out he is going to help me at least put his toys back in the basket! *sigh* I love him. I really, really do! : )
How can I not?!

This Halloween was pretty fun because we went Trick or Treating! I don’t think I’ve been for like 12 years! Of course it wasn’t for me but I got to still enjoy the whole process. Tyson got the hang of it real quick that he was suppose to stand by the door, knock, and then grab a piece of candy (or two, or three!) out of the giant bowl. He would then put the candy in Dallin’s bucket…not his own. Silly kid! At least he knows how to share right? Anyway, it was really fun to have Tyson walking around. This year Tyson really loved his dog costume and kept the hood on for a long time! Here are some pictures of him playing outside and right before we hit the doors. Hope everyone had a fun holiday. I have to say though, Halloween is probably my LEAST favorite holiday. Guess I picked that up from my dad…I mean who came up with the whole idea anyway?!
Ty riding some kid’s toy outside our condo that he is obsessed with!
This is basically what Ty did after he knocked on the door. In 3 houses he took a few steps INTO the house! I was really embarrassed!
Playing with Mike and Emily’s dog Sparky…he LOVES dogs!
Joe, Heather and Dallin!
Best Friends! They don’t look happy but I promise they had a good time.
