This is Emily, Ashley's sister in law. Ashley wanted me to post a few pictures of Tyson! He came early this morning and baby and mom are doing well! He was 7 lbs 7 oz and 21 1/2 inches long. He's a cutie! Ashley will give all the details when she gets home from the hospital.

Baby Shower
I have finally downloaded the pictures from my baby shower. The baby shower was just wonderful. My friend Lindsey Bohon and her mother threw it for me. It would have been my dear friend Ashley Hansen and Lindsey that would have thrown it, but since Ashley died in a car accident in November Lindsey's mother stepped in. It was beautiful and I know that Ashley was very proud. (Ashley was exceptionally good at throwing parties.) Anyway, I had a lot of friends and family show up. It was just perfect. I felt so loved. It was a great day. Now if we can only get little Tyson to come...
Cute decorations!
A blanket that Lindsey Fromm made for Tyson!
Me and one of the hostesses
Some family. Aunt Joyce, Nikki, Stephanie and Jenny
Opening a present (I have lots of pictures like this :) )
And the ballet girls! Laura, Lindsey and Stephanie!

Update
So I went to the doctor this morning and the fluid level is at a 9. So I am still having tests done twice a week. Tyson will either come because I go into labor myself or the fluid drops to a 6 or below. If it drops then I would be induced. Being on bedrest has been interesting. I get a little bored but I am able to get a few little things done to prepare for our son. My mother comes into town on Saturday, March 22, so that will be really good. I have had some contractions so hopefully that means my body is getting ready. I am pretty sure they aren't those braxton hick contractions anymore. Well, there is a quick update. : )

Amniotic Fluid
Well I don't have a picture to post but I have some news. Last Thursday I went in for a routine ultrasound because I have asthma. I guess asthma can delay the grow of the baby. Anyway, they found out the amniotic fluid was only measuring about 4 cm. Around 36 weeks it should have been around 10 cm. So they told me to count the baby's movements to make sure he was still moving. Okay, so I like freaked out b/c the ultrasound dr. said if the fluid doesn't increase by next week then they would for sure induce labor on the 17th of March (3 weeks early). The next day I had an NST (non stress test where you listen to the baby's heart beat to make sure everything is okay) and had a another little ultrasound. This time it was 7 cm. I then went to my dr. appointment with my OBGYN on Monday and he said that yes he would induce if fluid is still low. He also put me on bed rest. Later that day I had another NST test and the fluid went up to 10 cm. Today, Thursday, I had another test and fluid is now back down to 7 cm. This is still low but not as critical. The ultrasound dr. doesn't think that is critical enough to induce labor but it is really up to MY doctor what he thinks is best! I just wish I knew instead of this guessing and waiting game. However I count my blessings that my son is still developing and is healthy. *sigh* At least I should be fine to make it to my baby shower this Saturday which I am really excited about. I can't wait to spend some time with family and friends. Anyway, that's my news.
