Time to catch up!

I have done alot in the last month. Let me just get straight to the pictures. Above: Tyson this morning in a good mood. The next 3 pictures are of our 4th of July. Brian worked so Tyson and I went to the parade. It was mainly tractors and fire trucks. It was a small town parade but it was still nice. Tyson danced in the street before it started and made a cute face when everything passed. Then we all meet up to eat at the Cheescake Factory. Brian was late because he got bit by a dog and had to go to the ER. He's alright but it was a stressful holiday.

Last week we went to a farm to pick raspberries and strawberries. It was hard work but it was peaceful and the fruit was amazing!

The beach was a blast. Tyson loved every minute of it.

Tyson and his girlfriend, Addison, at the pool.

Above: Me and Tyson at Navy Pier. Below: A video of this adorable Thomas the train ride at Navy Pier. Tyson is in the green shirt and is riding with some of his friends!

Tyson is growing like a weed and is so fun! Next post will be Brian's birthday and surprise party!

Video from the ZOO

Make sure you check out the novel below but I just have to post this video from the zoo. Tyson LOVED these monkeys. You are about to see how much...

We are alive, I promise

Pizza at Gino's in Chicago!

I know, I know...I am suppose to blog once a week. It is a little hard to do that with no computer but thanks to my friend, Melanie, I get to sit down and write how our lives have been the last few weeks. We are living in a small town in Indiana (I'd rather not share where that exactly is since this blog is not private) and let me tell you it is small. I have to drive at least 15 minutes to get to Wal-Mart, Target, Costco, and Wells fargo. However, none of these places are in the same city and they are all in opposite directions. I'm just grateful these stores are around here. The apartments are really nice that we are living in. So nice that I am scared to death of a scratch showing up on the wall. These are brand spankin' new so it would be easy for them to tell that WE did the scratch. As some of you read before I was learning how to do grocery shopping with out Brian. I am getting better at it and I am starting to learn what a good deal is (Brian always paid attention to that stuff for me : ) I would never make it through a trip though if it weren't for raisins and animal crackers. I am enjoying looking for new recipes. My friends out here have got me all excited to try something new every week for dinner. That has been fun since I was stuck in a big rut of making the same things over and over. I still miss dance and teaching. Brian is so tired every night when he comes home. Since they are working about 2 hours away right now he gets home at 11 at night. He eats dinner and within 5 minutes he falls asleep. I have some funny pictures of how and where he falls alseep. Just really proves how tired he is. Sometimes I try to get him to move and come to bed and sometimes I just give up. He is doing well out here. Not as well as he would like but he is such a trooper. I know he can reach his goal. He works so hard and never gives up! Tyson and I are very proud of him. We have enjoyed a few shopping trips as well as going to the park and Zoo! Tyson is getting really good at waving now. He says "Nummies" when he wants food and cries when Brian leaves in the morning. I just know that poor kid is so tired of me! We cut Tyson's hair a few weeks ago and it is short. At first I didn't like it but I really like it now. Tyson plays well with the older kids but seems to be a bit of a bully to the younger kids. I am not quite sure what to do about that. He has some girlfriends out here. He loves playing with the other kids though. I think it must be the highlight of his day besides watching Elmo and eating lunch. Tyson does really well eating lunch and breakfast but he hardly eats anything for dinner. He is getting better at drinking milk but for awhile there I was a little scared about him. Wow this is the longest post in this century. I will just end there. We are happy and healthy out here. Keep us in your prayers. We thank you for always doing that anyways. We have faith that we are in the right place. Enjoy the pictures! They will probably be a bit out of order but I can't help it.

yeah, the couch is right there!!

Another tiring day...

Time for an update

Since I am on a shared computer in the hotel in Indiana I don't feel like uploading pictures of my family. When we get to the other area in a week I can post some pictures (but there aren't many anyway). Brian gets to spend the morning with the family and then he is pretty much gone from 11:30 am to 10:00 pm 6 days a week. We are so proud of him and his determination to excel at another aspect in his life. He always does his best at everything and I know he'll do great at this. The selling season offically starts tomorrow. He has spend the last week and two days doing his best and trying to learn all he can in the "pre-season". I clean, watch TV, talk to some friends, do laundry, go grocery shopping (which I am learning to do by myself instead of with Brian), make dinner and play with Tyson. I can tell by the end of the day that Tyson can't figure out why in the world his mother is still watching him up until bed time. He is use to me being gone a few hours at night to teach dance. (Which I miss by the way...) He has done well though adjusting to the time change and all. He loves being around these littles kids here. He's had a few falls, bumps, bruises, scratches and some oozing blood which is new for me. Hard to believe that little baby of mine is really more of a TODDLER now then a BABY. Where did the time go? Anyway, hopefully in a week I will have more to post. Wish us luck. Lots of love!

1st Birthday Party and Easter

Hey everyone!  This will most likely be the last post I make in Utah before we leave for Chicago.  We leave really early Wednesday morning.  The last few days have been jam packed and very fun.  My mother flew in Wednesday evening and nothing has been calm sense.  Yesterday we had Tyson's 1st birthday party with family and some friends.  It was also a way for us to see lots of the people we love before we leave.  Thank you everyone that was able to come and support us and shower Tyson with love and gifts.  He was a bit overwhelmed with opening the presents and getting cleaned up after eating his cake but overall it was a fun party to plan and he loved all the attention.  It was a train theme which turned out really cute I think.  Get ready for LOTS of pictures...

Tyson's cake from Costco was amazing!  All I did was take in a napkin and they pretty much copied it exactly!  : )

Our little 1 year old

imageimage image

Happy Birthday TYSON!!!  We can't believe our little Ty Guy is 1 years old today.  We took him to Kiddie Kandids yesterday because I had a coupon for a free 8x10.  Overall, I am glad I didn't pay anything.  Because I had the coupon they took like 5 pictures of Tyson (which I was a little disappointed in.  Perhaps if they had take some more pictures I would have bought some.  Oh well...their loss).  We picked the first one (him sitting on the log) for our free 8x10.  I will probably go back but only when I have my free 8x10 again.  I have a nice Canon Rebel camera but I thought it would be fun to go somewhere nice for his 1 year picture.  We aren't really celebrating his birthday today.  We are having a fun Train theme party for him Saturday.  I thought it would be fun to make a little list about Tyson.

*He says Momma and Dadda

*He thinks everything is a phone and says "hello" but it isn't really clear when he says it

*He loves balls!

*He is a walking pro

*He loves to clap and dance (dancing consists of him bouncing his knees and smiling)

*He loves watching other kids play

*He knows what "NO" means and doesn't like it when Brian or I say it to him

*He sleeps like an angel

We love our little guy.  Here are some flash back pictures from when Tyson was a day and a few days old.
