Nov 1-8

It was 10:15 on November 2nd and the boys were hungry for a snack.  I was still very tried from the night before with Hannah so Andrew asked if he could make him and Jeffrey food.  I told him "Sure."  I went down stairs to Andrew telling me "I made me and Jeffy lunch!"  He tried his best and there was very little peanut butter or jelly on the bread, but I thought it was so sweet of him to be such a big help.

The boys enjoy throwing anything and everything down the balcony ledge upstairs.  I've at least convinced them to only throw down soft items instead of toy cars that bang up my railing and walls.

Halloween Night

Pumpkin pizza for dinner, pictures on the steps and away they went Trick or Treating with Dad this year.  Hannah and I held down the fort and passed out candy.

Halloween 2015
Fancy princess, Jango Fett, Army guy and Batman

I can't get over how adorable Jeffrey was in his Batman cape.

Love Jeffrey waving 'Bye' to me.

Hannah slept in her swing almost the entire time.  I watched a show on Netflix and had to pause it every time someone was at the door.  Our doorbell actually doesn't work anymore so at first I could hear kids at the door but was waiting for them to knock.  Then it dawned on me that they were trying to ring the door bell.  So I made a sign and covered up the door bell to just knock.

Awake and ready to party.  I had to text Brian to come home so that I could feed her.  Btu they still went to plenty of houses and came home with buckets completely full of candy.  Tyson's handle actually broke because it was so heavy from the candy.

Halloween Work Party

On Friday, October 30th, we attended Brian's work Halloween party.  Since it had only been 3 weeks from having Hannah, Brian asked my mom to drive the kids and me up there.

The kids always love this party.  Fun and easy carnival type games and lots and lots of candy from Trick or Treating.

Hannah posing like the fancy girl that she is!

Our family photo at the party.  Sometimes I wonder why I brought a 3 week old baby out to a party.  I guess we just didn't want her to miss her first Halloween party.

Mike works downtown so he meet us there with his kids and walked somewhere with my mom while we did the party.  After the party we were suppose to meet them at the Olive Garden to eat but there was a super long wait time.  My incision was really hurting me and I cried and just wanted to go home.  I felt bad for spoiling the evening and dinner but walking around at the party was all I could handle for that day.

Pumpkin carving

When I say we carved pumpkins what I really mean is Brian and I carve them.  The boys pick out their stencil and play around and watch us.

If I remember right we started this on a Monday night and it went later than we had anticipated so they boys were up past their bedtimes.  It was worth it though to see their excitement.

And baby girl slept the entire time in the swing like she does most of the time these days.

Hannah's first bath at home

 16 days old!

I got dressed, did my hair and makeup to go to my 2 week post c/s check.  I did really well until he pushed on my stomach and incision to get the adhesive glue off.  From that one appointment I feel like I was set back an extra 2 weeks in recovery.  It was terrible.

Brian roasted the pumpkin seeds from carving the pumpkins.  They were delicious the first night but put the lid on them while they were still warm and then the moisture got to them and they didn't taste so great anymore.

Andrew making ghosts, pumpkins, and spiders out of paper plates.  He hung them on the window himself.

All three younger kids were all asleep at the same time.  Totally worthy of documentation.  It lasted 15 minutes but those were glorious 15 minutes.

Jeffrey always wanting to hold Hannah.

We heard about this Halloween house that decorates its entire front yard with everything Halloween.  Andrew loved it, the other boys too.

This picture makes me laugh.  Jeffrey refuses to eat food with a kid spoon.  We have to give him a 'glass' or 'big' spoon to eat.  He must have discovered that he can seen himself in the reflection of the spoon.  So funny.
