My ballet classes get to dress up the week of Halloween.  It is so fun to see what all the little girls choose to be.  Frozen characters was the winner by far this year.

The next series of pictures are Jeffrey showing off his new found climbing skills.  He has started to get into EVERYTHING.  He pushes a stool, toy, whatever he can find to climb.  I had to put the chairs on the table for a few weeks because I’d catch him on top of the kitchen island and I was afraid he would hurt himself!  I remember having to do the same thing with my other boys.  Boys will be boys!!!

Andrew must have left the fridge open because I came down stairs one morning and Jeffrey had gotten into the sour cream.  He was dipping his binky in it and eating it.  H crawled all over the place smearing it into the carpet and on the stairs.

I have had so much fun being in Young Womens.  This was a combined activity where the kids were given ice cream and random food items.  They had to make the dessert taste good for the judges (bishopric).  Well, the kids didn’t even try to make it taste good.  They made the nastiest ice cream concoctions imaginable and the poor bishopric had to taste them and give scores.  It was so nasty!

Pumpkin carving and Trick or Treat

On the 30th we carved pumpkins!  I remember it taking longer than we thought it would and it was a late night but the boys loved it.

Tyson picked out the stencil for Frankenstein, Andrew a skeleton and for Jeffrey we did a “c” for Carlsen.

On Halloween night Brian and I took the boys around trick or treating and my mom offered to sit on the porch and hand out the candy.

And I’m really glad I did the Fotofly Halloween pictures because trying to get these boys to pose for a picture was a complete joke.  This is the best I could get and the lighting is terrible.IMG_3804_5501IMG_3815_5512_edited-1IMG_3820_5517_edited-1IMG_3811_5508_edited-1IMG_3821_5518_edited-1

After trick or treating we played on the porch and looked at the candy and the younger boys played with the ‘shaking skeletons.”

Pumpkin Patch

We were very late in the game for picking out pumpkins.  We kept putting it off because we didn’t want the pumpkins to go bad before Halloween but we waited too long.  We did the best we could picking out a pumpkins.

If I remember right once we got to the front we traded a few of the ones we picked out for better ones.

Fotofly Halloween Pictures

It was new this year for Fotofly to do Halloween pictures.  Since we always love our Christmas photos with Santa, I figured it would be great to give this a shot.  I think the background turned out great and of course the boys look adorable in their costumes.  It was also nice to not feel like I had to get the ‘perfect picture’ of them before Trick or Treating on Halloween evening.  One less thing to try to do!

My police officer, SWAT guy and dragon!

Halloween work party

Brian’s work puts on a little Halloween party for the families.  They play some carnival games and go Trick or Treating around the office.  Of course the boys love to see where dad works and to get candy and really any excuse to dress up is exciting to them.  For some reason in the pictures none of them look happy but they loved it.
